As part of the "Geometry" thematic year supported by the GdRs IM and IG-RV, the Young Researchers in Geometry Day in Geometry will take place on 27 October 2023 at the Institut Henri Poincaré in Paris. This first event is designed to bring together doctoral and post-doctoral students in computational geometry (GTs Modélisation Géometrique, Géometrie Discrète et Morphologie Mathématiques, et GEOmétrie ALGOrithmique) and to encourage interaction between them.

The programme will include short talks giving an insight into the variety of research in geometry. There will also be a round table discussion with young researchers who have followed different paths after their doctorate: industry, research institutes and universities.

A welcome meal will be organised the day before! Those who have registered will meet at 7pm at Place de la Contrescarpe, and there is still time for others to sign up.

It should also be noted that transport and accommodation for doctoral students and postdocs belonging to the GdRs IM and IG-RV can be covered as part of the "Young Researchers in Geometry"  --- more information will be available soon on this website.
